The project aims to integrate established single cell chlorophyll photophysiology (PAM fluorimetry) approaches for wide field microscopy with the novel Mesolens imaging system (http://www.strathclydemesolab.com ; www.mesolens.com ). The role will involve adapting existing PAM imaging hardware and software as well as the development of new protocols for integrating excitation light sources with a high-resolution CMOS camera for assessment of photosynthetic chlorophyll fluorescence parameters.
