Arctic Frontiers is a non-profit organisation based in Tromsø, Norway. The focus of the organisation is to bring together scientists, policy-makers, businesses and local communities for discussions on key Arctic issues, and to be a catalyst for dialogue and sustainable solutions. Each year in January, they host a large conference in Tromsø, which features science sessions, panel discussions and networking events. Year-round they also host seminar series and workshops in various countries and have an extensive youth and early career development program. At the 2025 conference, numerous themes will reflect the interests of the Marine Biological Association, such as ecosystem-based management, environmental impacts of war, metal toxicity monitoring and impacts, and climate change adaptation.

The Polar Special Interest group hosted by the MBA invite Members to join them in their first webinar "Introduction to Arctic Frontiers".

The Polar Special Interest Group is a special interest community group for Members who are passionate about polar research, conservation, and or policy - dedicated to better understanding and preserving the unique ecosystems of the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
