🧬Attend a one-off session or sign-up to take part monthly! 🧬

This session will be a second installment of the Darwin Tree of Life Project – an ambitious project mapping the genomes of 70,000 species in Britain and Ireland. This session will take you all the way from identifying the organism to processing its genome.

Let Patrick take you on a journey through all of the cool ways these genomes have been used to further our knowledge and science!

Alongside our hosts, scientists from this project will join us to tell you more about the project, show you what working on the project looks like including behind-the-scenes footage, and share some inspirational stories.

You'll get the opportunity to:

🧬 Ask all your questions

🧬 Take part in some fun, interactive activities based on the project

🧬 Meet other young marine biologists
