Our popular ‘YMB’ category is aimed at younger marine enthusiasts who are under 18 and keen to learn more about the fascinating world of our oceans and coastlines.

You can buy a Young Marine Biologist Membership as a gift for a young person or for yourself for just £15 a year. You must be aged 13+ to buy junior Membership for yourself.

The title of Fellow of the Marine Biological Association, FMBA, was first awarded in 2014, following granting of a Royal Charter to the Marine Biological Association.
